CODE was a visual kei band from Japan (2004 - 2008). CODE was started in September 2004, attracting immediate interest due to their distinguished line-up. Besides the guitarist HIRO and bassist Naoya, the members included the former wyse drummer Roa Kenji, who had now changed his role to vocals, and guitarist TOMO, whose band ElDorado had disbanded just over a month before. All of the members have their roots in visual kei, yet CODE built their foundation on a more mainstream look and modern sound drawing influences from nu metal. Read more: JaME
